The Oasis is seven-month discipleship program. Our mission is to allow men to transition into productive lives with a Gospel centered focus. We allow men who are coming out of prison, jail, rehab, or off the streets to become part of the family, even if they do not have the financial means to cover the initial deposit of $300 or the fees for the first phase.

The program consists of three phases. The first phase, or first sixty days, the sole purpose is to allow the men to seek the Lord through mentoring, fellowship, daily bible studies, evening classes, community outreaches, and more: all while being shoulder to shoulder with the Forgotten Ministries staff. During this phase the men also get the opportunity to participate in the work crew. This provides the means for them to learn routine, job skills, work, ethic, and what it means to work as though they're working for the Lord.

Once they have a solid foundation on Christ, we allow them to move to the second phase. Here, they seek full time employment with approved employers. They then learn to budget the money they earn to pay off debt, program fees, and start saving for when they graduate.

We currently run a yearly budget of $75,000. This budget includes helping men through phase 1, hygiene, utilities, gas, work crew and community outreach expenses, vehicle maintenance, staff salaries, staff housing, and more. We are seeking financial support in either a one time, yearly, or monthly donation. Please pray on this opportunity to help men transition and support the building of the kingdom.
